DraftView supports two sign-in paths.

  • Magic link by email
  • GitHub OAuth

When to use each method

  • Use magic link when you only need to review and do not need GitHub access.
  • Use GitHub sign-in when you want to load private PRs directly or push feedback to GitHub.

Steps

Go to https://www.draftview.app/login.

Enter your email for a one-time magic link, or choose Sign in with GitHub.

If you use a magic link, the emailed link opens a confirmation page. Select the button on that page to complete sign-in. This extra step protects your single-use link from email security scanners that open links automatically.

After sign-in, DraftView sends you to your dashboard or the specific PR route you opened.

First-time onboarding behavior

If you sign in with GitHub for the first time, DraftView can ask what you want to do first:

  • Set up a team queue
  • Review a PR yourself

DraftView uses your choice to prioritize the dashboard experience.

If your goal is AI docs oversight at team scale, choose the team queue path.

After your first sign-in, DraftView sends a welcome email with links to the guides that match how you joined.
